How do you make microspheres of glass?
1. Glass powder method
Using pre-prepared powdered glass containing SO3 and passing it through the flame between temperatures of 1100-1500 is the glass powder method. Due to a decrease in the solubility, and a change in the atmosphere inside the kiln's atmosphere, SO3 or other gases dissolved into the glass are now escaping from the interior of the powder. Surface tension causes the glass powder to become spherical at high temperatures. The gas leakage is sealed inside the spherical powder to form hollow beads.
2. Spray granulation is a method of granulation.
Spray granulation is a method that is done in advance using a special auxiliary (boric, urea or ammonium pentaborate). The solution is injected into the spray drying machine, which is expected to dry to a specific particle size.
3. The droplet method
The liquid drop technique uses the same raw material as the spray-granulation method. The raw materials used are 500 copies each of sodium silicate (M(SiO2):M (Na2O =2) and 10% ammonium aqueous solution. After evenly mixing, the hollow beads are sprayed onto the spray dryer tower.
4. Dry gel method
